Al Berg

Al Berg is the President and Founder of Premier Benefits Group. After several years in journalism and broadcasting, he transferred those communication skills to the insurance and employee benefits market. Al has over 25 years of experience in the benefits industry. His business passion is to take the often confusing subject of insurance and benefits and make it understandable to both employers and employees.

Al is licensed to sell health, life and disability insurance in North Dakota and Minnesota. He holds memberships in the National Association of Health Underwriters and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also an active member of the Benefit Advisors Network (BAN). His personal interests are traveling, outdoor activities, church, reading, golf, and being with his family.
Carmen Schroeder

As the Client Relationship and Compliance Director at Premier Benefits Group, Carmen is responsible for the service and retention of clients through strategic planning, development, monitoring and evaluation of administrative and compliance systems. She has 15+ years of experience in the field of Human Resources and she has earned her HRCI PHR and SHRM-CP Certifications. Carmen

works with clients to bring compliance recognition to their company. She partners with clients and reviews their benefit plan(s) to determine if they have the required documents necessary to comply with ever changing legal requirements.

Outside of the office, Carmen enjoys spending time with her family camping, fishing, hunting, traveling and attending NDSU Bison Football games.

Justine Pringle

Justine brings 9 years of benefits, human resources, insurance and training experience to her role with Premier Benefits Group. As an account manager, she works to build and maintain relationships with her clients and support their employees on a daily basis. She enjoys helping others understand their benefits and works diligently to process their enrollments.

Justine graduated from Concordia

College, Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in Business-Marketing and Communications. Justine obtained her insurance license in 2014 and is currently licensed in Accident, Health and Life Insurance in the state of ND. Her children are her first priority and very much enjoys spending time with her husband and watching her two young daughters learn and grow. Her free time includes being outside (especially in the summer!) at the lake and the pool, attending live country music concerts, traveling and exploring new places.
Shannon Uecker

Shannon joined Premier Benefits Group as an Account Manager in 2017, bringing with him an extensive background in human resources. He has over 10 years of HR Generalist experience in construction, Federal contracting and healthcare. He holds PHR Certification and SHRM-CP Certification. He uses his extensive human relations background to identify the needs of his client groups and employees. He strategically partners with his client groups and

the benefit carriers, assisting with questions and helping resolve plan/claim concerns.

Shannon and his family have lived in Fargo since 1987. He enjoys hunting, boating, cooking and spending time with his family at the lake.

Terinne Berg

Terinne and her husband, Al, own Premier Benefits Group. Terinne Berg grew up on a farm and graduated from Aneta High School in Aneta, ND. She received her under graduate degree in Business Education from MSUM in Moorhead, MN. She later went on to receive her master’s degree from NDSU/Tri-College in Education Administration, specializing in the Superintendency.

After receiving her undergraduate

degree, Terinne worked as a Sales Coordinator and Market Researcher for a Fargo-based electronics firm. Following this, she accepted a position at Park Christian School in Moorhead, MN, where she served 7 years as the Assistant Superintendent, followed by 11 years as the school’s Superintendent. In 2011-12 Terinne served as an interim school administrator in St. Cloud, MN.
Terinne received her ND insurance license in 2012 and has worked at Premier Benefits since that time, providing a broad range of client assistance services and enrollment services. She currently she provides clients with enrollment services and manages various operational and business aspects of Premier Benefits.

In addition to her work at Premier Benefits, she has a consulting service called Raising the B.A.R. Consulting. Her consulting service provides expertise and guidance to non-profit organizations in North Dakota and Minnesota. She has served on state-wide and local boards and has provided training to many nonprofits in the area of board governance. Currently she serves on one Fargo based nonprofit board and chairs one regional Minnesota board.
